Why you need to get rid of Uncertainty

28/5/2017

Uncertainty is powerful, so when you are dealing with it you should be strong enough. Just do not let the emotions take over your brain. Think. Analyze. Then Action. And start doing what you like.
Uncertainty, motivation, discipline
Sometimes we think about setting up new business, changing our career path or just what can we do instead of our daily routine. There are different options but where to start?
You are fed up with life and you want changes, but the fear is strong and usually conditions are not suitable. You do not have enough money, you need more time to sacrifice, you are not aware of this sphere. The same to me and to everybody else. We all do not have enough time to proceed something that inspire us, because it is not enough just to have this inspiration. You can truly believe that this project could have been done by somebody else and it is out of date for now or you won’t make it any better. Or you have already seen it on the internet. But so what?

You have to give it a shot!

All of us do not have enough knowledge and everybody was in that situation when you are a newbie. But we discovered. Questions were asked. Experience gained. And with time we receive that person who we are now.

If you like who you are, that is great and do not stop, improve yourself further. If not, then it is time to make changes and stop doing previous mistakes.

  • Stop procrastinating and if you have not read or seen it yet I truly recommend this article by Tim Urban – Why Procrastinators Procrastinate
  • The other motivation story is from Rahul Iyer – How I left my consulting career and broke into tech
  • Also you can reveal great receipt from Leonig Zverugo – What you really need is discipline, not motivation

In the end I would like to mention the Dunning–Kruger effect with which we often encounter in life. Probably you haven't known its name, but surely you were in that situations when less competent people consider themselves professionals and more competent inclined to doubt themselves and their abilities.
Nowadays it is vital to understand that flexibility is one of the main features and everybody should be able to learn and develop new abilities on daily basis. And those who are stubborn enough to treat themselves as an experts in most cases aren't. And sometimes it is normal to feel uncertainty, then we dig deeper. Knowledge gives you power to improve both yourself and the world and only people who understand it can use this power.

I am glad you like that! Honestly, I found interesting articles on this topic which I attached earlier but regarding the books, I am still searching for some good source. In the meantime, I would recommend to read Rework which gives great advises about life and business and the book about Jonathan Livingston Seagull to grab a spark of motivation 😊
