Many apps are designed to make our traveling easier so we can manage almost everything in the palm of our hand. Nowadays there are tons of such applications but I would like to recommend you a few of them which I use on daily basis and yes, they all are free of charge. 1. Skyscanner Let’s start - Skyscanner - great application if you are still hesitating where to travel. It helps you to find cheap tickets for different directions and from various companies so you don’t need to check every company website to know the prices and the directions. You have all necessary info here. Just use it and book your trip. 2. Google Translator The second one is Google Translator because sometimes we need to know local language to communicate with citizens, to trade or talk or just ask for the road to the hidden gems. And no matter how many people know English nowadays it is still not enough. Honestly, I use it from time to time and if you don’t know yet there is an offline mode, you can check how to use it here. 3. Uber Uber the third one, of course depending on where you’re travelling, but still Uber can help you achieve your destination within the city. This transport apps can probably come in handy when you don’t want to search the road home but just to be there as soon as you can. 4. Airbnb More and more people are choosing to organize their trip on their own way and Airbnb is very useful in this case. Personally, I use this app since 2015 where I booked my first trip in Prague and I am so glad to have it on my phone. It is a nice way to find great value accommodation. Review from previous visitors help you to estimate the hospitality of the host. And Airbnb services also help you to resolve any questions (if there are any) regarding to the particular visit. There are also some risks when apartments are not the same as you can see on the filtered well-done photo, or cleaning was done not so good, or the difference in bedclothes. And all you can do in such cases to write a review or maybe to ask for a refund (I haven’t done that yet). But you have a wide range of apartments and everything depends on your budget. 5. Booking At the same time, another nice similar application - Booking. You can also book the accommodation there, the difference is that here you can find various hotels in most cases but also there are some nice private apartments. 6. Tripadvisor As an option - TripAdvisor. I use this application to know all the sightseeing, whether I saw everything on this city or not, or what I have missed. Also, there are good reviews from people all over the world about different places. It helps you find appropriate destination where you can eat some delicious food and you can even find a menu or photos of the meals. It’s always nice to spend some time in a good local restaurant or café. 7. Google Maps And obviously Google Maps. This apps makes navigating your world faster and easier. You can download the maps you need for your trip and use it offline and of course it’s for free. It’s a real powerful user-friendly treasure especially if you travel by car. 8. Google Trips In addition, Google provide numerous services and apps. If you like to travel, for sure this one is worth a closer look - Google Trips. It can help you plan and organize your trip in a matter of minutes. Application is easy to navigate and exploring the world with all your travel info in your hand. 9. AccuWeather Also, nice to have some weather application like AccuWeather. It helps you to predict the weather conditions and plan your day. 10. Facebook The last one is Facebook. I guess you know this application, but do you know all range of options? For example, Nearby Places - is only available on the Facebook app for iPhone or Android (unfortunately not for Windows users). You can find info how to use it when you click here. You will find nearest places (Restaurants, Coffee, Nightlife, Outdoors, Hotels, Shopping and other including Art galleries and Ticket Sales) which are based on friends' recommendations, check-ins and likes. So, no matter where are you going this summer, these apps should help you to navigate your delightful travel experience. Probably you already use some of them, but if not then go ahead and give them a try! And I will be glad to receive a comment from you whether the info was useful for you or not.
